So a few months back I made the mistake of offering free art on Twitter to build a following.
It worked and I more than doubled my following from 25 into >100.
But I ended up creating 86 drawings in just two weeks. It was... intense.
Had to make it a rule to only spend 2 hours on each drawing and it wasn't commission based. I drew submitted OCs however I wanted.
I was surprised how well this served as an art bootcamp. I was able to quickly iron out my art style that I only recently developed and learn some new tricks with filters and post processing on my journey.
Still can't decide if I would or would not recommend it.
Did you know that Newgrounds only lets you post a maximum of 50 art pieces to your own art page per day?
Guess I'll have to pace myself in posting my backlog of art.
